A business website has one job: make it easy for the right person to work out what you do and get in touch. Everything else, the design trends, the animations, the awards, is negotiable. That job is not.

How I build

Every project starts with the same question: when someone lands here, what do we want them to do? Ring you, book a call, request a quote, buy. The sitemap, the copy and the layout all follow from that answer. I design mobile-first because that is where most of your visitors are, and I build light: fast pages, no plugin soup, nothing loading that is not earning its place. Speed is not a nice-to-have; it is rankings, ad quality scores and patience all at once.

What a build includes in practice

Sensible page structure with a page per service, copy written to be read by customers and understood by Google, on-page SEO from day one rather than bolted on later, contact and enquiry forms that actually reach you, analytics and conversion tracking set up properly, and an admin area so you can change prices, photos and text yourself. Updating your own content should not mean ringing an agency, and with my builds it never does.

Honest timescales and money

Most small business sites take two to four weeks from brief to launch, and the usual delay is content: photos and decisions, not code. My starting prices are published on the packages page, which tells you two things: what the entry point is, and that I am comfortable being compared. If a focused refresh of your current site would do the job for less, I will say so before you spend on a rebuild.

Whose project this is

Yours. The domain, the hosting, the site and every account are in your name from the start. If we part ways next year, you lose nothing but my company. It surprises people how rare that arrangement is in this industry, which tells you most of what you need to know about why I work this way.
