Content Marketing
Content that attracts the right audience and turns readers into enquiries.
Content that ranks and builds authority.
What is Content Marketing?
Content marketing means publishing things people want to read: articles, guides, landing pages and the copy on your own site. Done properly it is how a small business earns rankings it could never buy, and how a nervous visitor decides you know your trade before they ever fill in a form.
Built on real questions, not a content calendar for its own sake
Every piece starts with something your customers already ask, at the till, on the phone, or into Google. I research what they search, what already ranks and where the gap is, then write the piece that deserves to win: specific, honest and useful enough that a competitor would be annoyed you published it. Two strong pieces a month beat eight thin ones, and I will defend that trade every time.
Written by a person, in British English
Everything is drafted by me, in your voice, with British spelling and without the padded filler that machine-written pages are stuffed with. Google's systems have become good at spotting content written for rankings rather than readers, and so have readers. You review everything before it goes live; in regulated trades, nothing publishes without your sign-off.
Joined up with the rest of your marketing
Content that lives alone underperforms. Each piece links into your service and sector pages, answers questions your ads raise, and gives your social channels something worth posting. That is also how it pays back twice: once in rankings, once in conversions on the pages it feeds.
What a month looks like
An agreed plan, the pieces written and published with proper on-page SEO, internal links placed, and a plain-English note on what is climbing and what I am writing next. Content compounds quarter by quarter; expect the graph to bend upward slowly, then to keep bending long after the work was paid for.
